In the interest of fairness, I am imposing the following policy changes.
Until further notice, there are now three classes for the 25/50 Pistol Match. They are:
P Class (P for Pistol) for open sighted semi-automatics, single shots, and bolt actions.
R Class (R for Revolver) for open sighted revolvers.
O Class for optically sighted (including red dots) .22 rimfire handguns of any action style.
One may shoot the appropriate firearm in one, two, or even all three of the classes on any given pistol match morning.
Each shooter must either help with the match set up or the match take down. If one helps with the 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM set up, then he/she may leave early. If one helps with the end of match take down (the time depends on when we are done), then they may arrive late. If you have a conflict that morning that precludes both, then you need to pass on the match.
AND, PLEASE TAKE NOTE: ANY SHOOTER OBSERVED TO BE LEANING ON A BENCH OR POLE (OR EVEN TOUCHING THEM FOR THAT MATTER WITH ANY PART OF HIS/HER PERSON) WHILE SHOOTING WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. THIS IS AN OFFHAND PISTOL MATCH.
A HANDICAPPED SHOOTER MAY SIT WHILE SHOOTING BUT THEIR ARMS, HANDS, OR HANDGUN MUST BE UNSUPPORTED.
PRAIRIE DOGGIN CLASS IS DISCONTINUED. A NOVICE SHOOTER IS WELCOME TO SHOOT FROM THE BENCH REST IF THEY SO CHOOSE. BUT, HIS/HER SCORE WILL NOT BE POSTED.
