Dear Friends,
You probably already know that Frankfort Mountain Road is closed due to a rain-caused slip fault, so until such time as it reopens, please use the Wagnon Mountain road. From US 72, go south on Alabama 247 for 4 miles and turn left on Wagnon Mountain Road and drive 6.6 miles to the NASA gate on the left. Our access road down the hill is in very good condition considering the amount of rainfall runoff that it has endured. However, the ditch on the short section of Road between our parking lot and the range has gotten much deeper and some wider - you do not want your wheels to fall in - as have the surface ruts on the ranges. Also very muddy on the range but our concrete surface is mud free. I expect that with a few more dry days that things will straighten up quickly although we could certainly use some more gravel to fill in the ruts.
Didn't think to look at our pistol bays, though, since I seldom use them. Good thing that President Jody cleaned out those drains!!
Cheers, Bill
