CMP Rimfire Sporter

Eight dedicated shooters made it out on this beautiful January morning to shoot the first CMP Rimfire Sporter match of 2013. It was a banner day for a few of us, impressive shooting for sure.
Congratulations to Bill Parkhurst for shooting lights out to claim his first GOLD Medal! I think he figured out the trick to shooting in the sitting position. Very well done sir!
David Malone is in rarefied air with his 590-34x showing. He was close to doing it last month, and must have learned from the experience to bring it home this month. Nice shooting David!
Mike captured his second medal in as many months. This time with his trusty Savage and NO SLING! Way to go sir!
Dwight once again scared perfection with another 597 effort. He didn't seem as thrilled about that as he was about the performance of those around him. We can tell that watching Bill and David progress to their current level of marksmanship means more to him than any gold pin ever will. What a class act.
John "Waffle" Warffeli is knocking on the door of a medal with his Tactical SR-10/22, missing bronze by only 2 points yet again.
