29 keys left. So, I have started calling prospective members from the waiting list. When I have 29 firm commitments to join I will contact the officers and set up the processing meetings.
I think two daytime sessions at the rec center or a like facility will work. Possibly the following schedule:
1) Interview with validation of NRA membership and background check.
2) Safety briefing. I wish there was a way to do this at the range. 3) Collection of dues and issue of key and card.
Opinions and suggestions?

Is it worth your time to contact those on the waiting list who don't get in and remind them of our open events like 50-50, CMP, and Defensive Pistol? That way they can get some shooting in and stay connected for next year. Or will they be in too bad humor to deal with?

I think that is an excellent suggestion Jim. However, the phone calling is very time consuming i.e. answering machines, messages left with family members, no answers, and call backs. I plan to write a letter to the waiting list folks that don't get in this year and I will certainly include an invitation to join us in our open matches.
