Ricky King fires for groups with his new Mossberg .223, while his brother, Randy, spots. On a couple of benches down, I made another run at the illusive 250 score on a 25 yard USBR target. There is an online match that has a class for "Box Stock" factory sporters. The rifle and scope have to weigh less than 8.5 pounds and the retail cost of the rifle cannot exceed $500. Further restrictions: you can't change your bench rest settings after the first shot, and you can't shoot ammo that costs more than $8.00 per 50 round box (less tax). I paid $8.00 for this Eley club. It's challenging to try and nurse that factory CZ trigger through 25 bulls. You can post the best of four attempts in any given month. I shot a 246 and then this 248-9X: Maybe next month, the big 2-5-0.
