From the fertile imagination of Danny Creasy, he developed and we scheduled a pistol-version of our ever-popular Rapid-Fire Rimfire rifle match with the participants using semi-auto pistols offhand to engage rows of rams, turkeys, pigs & chickens as quickly as possible. Just like the rifle match, the score is the sum of individual times for each row. The maximum time allowed for each row is 45 seconds. While the rifle RFRF rifle match distance is 25-yards, the pistol match distance was 12-yards so both eye and ear protection were mandatory. We had a magnificent seven shooters show up on this cool (mid-40s) and cloudy morning. Since this was our first experience at this game, it was decided that each competitor could shoot twice and select the "best" score. Here are the final results.

Congratulations to Ulus and Andrew for winning their classes in this inaugural RFRF pistol match. I suspect we'll see this match down the road again as it proved most enjoyable. Next Saturday, February 7, 2015, will be our regular 50/25 rimfire rifle match. Stay tuned for the start time.
