I purchased three bricks of Aguila Standard Velocity last week and wanted to test it in my four busiest CZs. I don't need to use pricier match ammo for our local offhand silhouette matches and that's the only competitive events I participate in over the winter months. I wanted to make sure this lot was at least consistently acceptable for use in my CZ 452 UL, 452 FS, and both 452 Americans: It was cool and windy and my watering eyes did little to enhance the open and aperture groups. Other than the Weaver mounted American (it definitely needed some windage right), I chose to pass on sight corrections. Overall, the Aguila will do on our local 25 and 50 yard silhouette games. Please note the two dots on the far right of first and fourth rows. I plan to use these two rifles in our 25 yard speed matches that incorporate bolt-action handicaps. Thus, I stuck these two dots on a 25 yard stand to see how much change in impact there was (elevation) – negligible on both. I gingerly peeled them off and indexed them with the matching rifles' groups.
