Hey all, first I'd like to thank everyone for coming. We had a good turnout and several local/new folks. It was good seeing everyone out there, and would love to see more.
First let me encourage all that came to come shoot again, and any that are wanting to try it come on. We will help in anyway we can. Don't worry about not being "good enough". Some of the new guys outshoot me, LOL! Seriously though, I would love to have more local shooters. I will ask however that you try to get there before the 1 oclock starting time so we can have a safty breifing with you and not hold up the rest of the match.
Secondly, I don't mind you picking up your brass, but it got out of hand Sunday. General rule is, pick-up what you shoot, then after everyone else is done you can have any thats left. We not only had shooters that were picking up any and all calibers, but also that were doing it between shooters instead of pasting which really slowed down the pace of the match. Help me work on this issue please, others have made it a DQ offense, I'd like to think we can all work it out without going that far. But in fairness to I disagreeiting S.O.'s and other shooters if more drastic measures need to be taken I will.
Otherwise I think we had a good day. I would like to thank Bill & Robin again for their stage ideas and everyone that helped setup and takedown.
I look forward to next month, if there are any other issues please let me know so that I can address them also.
Thanks,
Rory
