Ok I did what I said I would not do and that is buying a Ruger. I went down to see the fine folks at sonny’s and picked up a new markIII 22/45 target model (great sights) , sry. Jon I heard you had been eyeing it… I needed ok wanted a new .22 pistol(the berretta just not a target gun) and I’m sorry butt I’m not paying $1000 for a s&w 41 I don’t like them that much. I took it to the range today and it’s a good shooter I like it, the trigger sux but it’s a nice gun. Ok now what can I do to make it shoot better, I’m thinking without a doubt a trigger, sear, hammer, springs, any ideas or personal tricks, preferences, ect. I welcome all ideas and suggestions. Thanks guys “T”

I have a MkII 22/45 5 1/2" stainless. I added a Hogue rubber sleave to the grip which helped a lot. I have a Tasco Propoint on mine which helps by adding weight. One of it's problems for accuracy is it's light weight.

shoot the snot out of it and the trigger will improve as it wears in some. Also go to midway and check out the adjustable trigger (adds overtravel screw...the big "V" brandd is like $21 but the Clark Custom if only like $15 (may be slightly higher regular retail but probably just a few bux) I use Clark Custom's 10/22 trigger kit on my and several buds 10/22's It's a great little kit (I just preffer bolt action guns myself) I also took a buck with their .460 rowland kit on my old springfield 1911 this last fall. They make great stuff at very fair prices...I think they offer a trigger job on their website very reasonably priced as well...they do great work. I know they do very good mini-14 triggerjobs as well. So Im guessing they go mark III's since they make a trigger ....most places do
