8-)It is coming up on the 3’rd Saturday of the month and my favorite match the USBR. . I have been working and training and progressing nicely with my savage MKII project, still working on it and gona shoot it Saturday and go for 210 I broke 200 last month and I have done a lot of tuning to it since and hope to improve. I was talking to a fellow member and the comment that no one had a 100% bench rest rifle, so I got to thinking and I called a friend and bought 1, I got a friend deal of less than $500 on it. I picked up a Suhl Model 150-1 Standard. MADE IN GDR. (German Democratic Republic = East Germany). These rifles have the last version of the SUHL 150 stock, developed for the East German SSG 82 sniper rifle. Cheek piece adjusts up or down and forward or back. Hard rubber butt plate adjusts for height/position and two removable butt stock spacers to adjust LOP (length of pull). This is a nicely shaped pistol grip style bench rest stock with the wood stippled where needed. The trigger has a nice feel as it came from the factory and there are five trigger adjustment screws to set to your taste 1/4oz –3#. There is a standard 3/8" rail on top of the receiver for mounting scope rings or the really nice diopter sight mount that is included with each rifle. Free float bull barrel is approx. 26" long, and the muzzle is counter sunk to protect the crown. Each rifle includes a diopter sight set:
The items are packed in a plastic, foam lined box containing the box top, factory target, certificate, and mail-in guarantee card (sorry, it is now void), all serial numbered to the particular rifle you are buying. Also included is the rear diopter adjustable sight mount that attaches to the 3/8" receiver rail (I got 2 sets in nice boxes 1 factory and 1 Palma rear and Redfield globe front w/20+ inserts), six screw in rear sights of various aperture sizes, thirteen front aperture and post sight inserts of varying sizes, a rubber eye-piece, accessory hook for the under-stock rail .I love it and will be shooting it in the unlimited class I hope against some Anshutz 54’s and other “Olympic” style rifles and wouldn’t mind if one of our 225+ guys took it out for a spin just to see what she'll do. Well nothing much to do to this one but mount the scope and sight it in…SUHL + ELEY TENNEX better = a win and at east a 225 we shall see. I’m sure it will get passed around and fondled sat. Morning it just feels good and if not for the price I would have never even saw one. , It is “different” I will give it that see yall Saturday early. “T” ;D
Go here to read all about it and see more detailed pictures. Great pictures of all aspects of the rifle. www.gunmountain.com/classifieds/vie...ng.php?view=853

Are these things realy what there cracked up to be or is Anshutz the king ?thanks',"
