18 shooters posted 25 scores in our three handgun classes this morning. Balmy winds helped offset the high humidity as we enjoyed good shooting and great fellowship. There was no paint missing from the little chickens (I burned two rounds on them and I am not sure how many other folks tried em) until Tony picked one off in a fun match at the end of the regular match.
Janne King was a first time twenty-five fiftier today. Janne, Joyce, and Anedra all represented their gender well by shooting the match fully offhand and unsupported. To the casual observer, this match looks easy. Well, it is easy until said observer tries to shoot it. It is pretty tough. Geometrically more difficult than the rifle match. Glad to see these gals challenging themselves with their semi-auto handguns.
I am leaving the Xs off today because as stated previously, nobody killed a little chicken during the regular match.
Place, string 1 score, 2, final score and shooter's name and pistol.

We really missed some folks today. Dwight is recovering from oral surgery (the little chickens got a break there) and Richard is helping him out while he is sedated. Jay was probably working. Some other regulars were missing as well probably due to football, hunting, and the like. Well, its that time of year.
