HAMMERLI 103D info and pics as requested by Rodney

I went to the range to day to meet a friend and made a new 1 while there, we were playing with the Hammerli's and he wanted some extra info about them and a pic of the test targets.So here it is , I hope this gives you a bit of insight on them. The top pistol in the pic (Hubie is it's name) is the one we were shooting today and the other one is the Olympic cert. pistol with the 5 rings stamped on it I rarely ever shoot it. The one we shot is the back up/ World Cup pistol. There are some out there but very expensive. Both mine are pre 48 models (SN's 274* and 428*)and have the papers and provenance to back them up even a picture of the former owner/Medallist holding the W/C pistol you shot. I like them allot but they have no practical purpose except to collect or shoot in the Olympics and maybe in this months 25/50 .I'm not sure how many were made but both mine are less than SN 5000 , I hope this helps your research and come out sat. and you can shoot it some more. I like to let folks shoot them just so they can say they have and to see their faces light up when they see 1 for the first time. That’s kind of how I ended up with them, I saw them and had to have them and got them a year later as a gift from a family friend. Needless to say I am proud of them and enjoy the heck out of them, but that’s what its all about. P.S.
