18 shooters posted 27 scores to christen David's new rimfire silhouette racks today. They are much more stable. There was only one double fall that I saw all morning long. Usually we have several. On the other hand it seems like the more stable racks are more apt to let poorly hit animals spin. But, that should simply encourage better shot placement.
Willie's brother Luther aka Peanut joined us today. He is visiting from Illinois. Nice guy.
John picked off the little chicken for the first time today and David King shot his best score ever. Congratulations guys.
We ran seven strings and started just after 8 AM to finish just before noon. David King treated us to a fun pumpkin match after the regular match. The object was to divide up in teams and each try to shoot the best Jack-O-Lantern face on each team's respective pumpkin. David's wife, Jeanne, was our judge and she demonstrated great objective skill in picking a winner. And, that would be the team of Dwight, Tony, and Danny of course .
