The match started out cold with low humidity and as the temp. went up and so did the humidity, it felt colder after the match and it didn't take long to clear out. We had 5 shooters and a IBS side match, scores were off and the temp was the culprit. 31.1 at start time and 34.5 after we got done almost no wind except for one 2.6 mph gust. Thanks for coming out on such a cold morning guys, I just wanted to try out my new rifle for the first time and get some trigger time in, everyone was a good sport and abliged me for that I thank yall. I hope the full crew is there in March and we can do it right in much nicer weather and everyone back to good health, I hope to see yall then. "T"

Rules
In the Rimfire Division there are no exact set guidelines/rules for this match/target, so I took a compilation of several clubs and their rules and this is what I came up with.
IBS 50yd Rimfire target, targets placed at 50yds.
25 min. to fire 25 scored shots, unlimited sighters on top 4 bulls
Sportsman Class 10.5# and under, no Custom Shop guns, no flat bottom or thumbhole stocks
Heavy Varmint Class 13.5# and under, no flat bottom stocks over 2 1/4" in width
Open Class - Anything goes as long as it is safe and legal=(NFA Rules)
Wildcat Class - Any Rimfire other than 22LR (i.e. =.22 Mag., .17Hmr), no weight or stock restrictions
No scope or barrel restriction in any class as long as the rifle meets weight requirements for class
No one piece, return to battery, or attached to bench, rest allowed except in Open Class
Worst edge scoring, touching dot is an X, removing dot is a Wipeout (counted as X unless breaking a tie)
Ties broken by X count then Wipeouts if necessary
NRA .22cal plug used to score targets

233-1X Peary Willard - Savage MKII FV - Barska 6.5-20 - Federal 714
207-2X Willie Rhodes - CZ Varmint - BSA 4-12X - Aguila SV
204-5X Anedra Gilmore - Savage MKII BV - Tasco World Class 6-24X - Eley Biathlon EPS
Open Class
247-14X Tony Gilmore - Remington 40X Custom (everything except trigger) - BSA 36X - Eley Match EPS
Wildcat Class
215-2X Paul Enlow - Marlin 25MN (22 Mag.) - Bushnell 4-12X - CCI Maxi Mag HP
In all fairness I have been shooting this target for almost a year now and most of the other shooters have never seen or shot an IBS Rimfire target before today. So if anyone wants to practice this match (in decent weather) contact me and I will give you some targets to shoot. I also was the only shooter that shot a 100% custom rifle, and that made all the difference in the world today. I hope everyone had fun other than the weather, and we can try it again when the other guys that wanted to shoot it can have a chance to do it in March if they want.
