I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed unfired unfired rounds left on the benches and several unfired .22LRs laying on the ground and in the parking area (mostly at the high power range). I can't help but think this may become a potential safety issue. I would like to suggest building or purchasing some form of trash bin for ammunition that are either duds, or for some other reason are still 'live' but not able to be fired through a firearm.
I saw such a device at the FOP Range in Pleasant Grove, and it was a simple steel box sunk in the ground that had a steel pipe with a cap sticking above ground where people could dispose of the rounds. I assume there was some way to remove the pipe and clean out the box.
