Randy King, Ricky King, and Willie Rhodes were at the top of their games today. Well done gentlemen. Several little chickens fell this morning.
Remember folks, these October matches will be the last chance to practice these disciplines before the Master Sporter Match on October 30th.
A shooter's score is the number of silhouettes that the shooter leaves standing out of 25 possible. 25 targets, 25 rounds, and fired at from a distance of 50 yards. There is a small chicken (1.5" X 2.5") in the middle of the top row. If the shooter knocks this little silhouette over, then a 1 is placed after his score to serve as a tie breaker. A zero is placed after his score if he does not knock down the small chicken. Given that two shooters have the same regular score and one took down the small bird and the other did not, then the shooter that got the small bird would place higher.

Randy King had suggested a special fun side match for today and three of us tried it. It is the 50/25 with a simple change. The shooter can fire only one shot at each of the 25 silhouettes - start with the lower left hand ram and and work your way across and up until a single shot has been fired at each silhouette on the rack. Like the regular match, the number left standing is the shooter's score and the low score wins.
