After consulting my CO Match Director and RO's we decided under the previous 50+ degrees forecast rule to cancel this Saturdays USBR Match… Currently the forecast is depending on the source from 45-47 and windy so with these conditions it will not be a pleasurable Match day and a waste of good high dollar ammo so it is canceled.
Hopefully we will start to warm up and have a better weather situation for the February Match and we can all get some well needed trigger time in, the 50+ Rule will stand as previously voted on by the USBR Officers and Directors.
I am going to use this time to work on my P=Dog Sniper Match skills if it warms up later in the day Sat or I might have to wait till next week to get a good day to shoot without snow and wind as bad as this week was. I hope to see you all there in Feb or March when we finally thaw out so we wont have to gather round a fire just to feel those ultra light triggers till then Keep it in the 10!!! “T” NASA USBR Co MD
P.S. Any NASA Members that wish to shoot for fun or to just get out due to cabin fever you are more than welcome to pull out the stands and shoot a Match if any of the Key Holders are willing to be there, it will be a fun/practice NON SANCTIONED Match no World Records will count for National/Club Score and there will be NO MATCH FEES should yall decide to come and shoot.. Have fun if yall come out and try to stay warm they are forecasting 15+ Mph winds so even at 47 it will still be cold with the winds, watch for ice early and have fun. Whoever runs the Match if there is one please foreword the Match info to me or Post the Scores here on RFS or the NASA Club Site.. Thanks "T"
