It's taken a long-time, but things are beginning to smooth out and come together at the wonderful new NASA Crooked Oak Range. I think it would be a good idea for those retirees/senior citizens amongst us to have a regular day and time to meet out at the range where we can shoot, talk, eat lunch and just have a good old time in fellowship while enjoying one of our favorite sports.
Therefore, I am proposing that those of us with the time, interest and inclination meet between 10 and 10:30 AM each Wednesday morning - weather permitting - at the range to shoot, swap stories and equipment, do special projects, or whatever we wish. This way there will be a few of us around to gather in community way back there in the wilds of Colbert County.
See you on Wednesday, October 9th between 10 and 10:30 AM at the range.
Just to make sure everyone understands...we'll welcome all members and friends to any Wednesday get together. It's not just those of us who are retired, halt or infirm... We'll look forward to whoever shows up and we'll raise a toast to all our working friends!!
