It was windy, stormy, very rainy and still we had record attendance with several new shooters. All had a good time in spite of a bad thunderstorm and high rain...we still shot and laughed at our selves and with other fellow shooters. We are most proud of Joyce who scored her first metal "Critter" yesterday....she had never fired a hand gun in her life before....now she is hooked. Scores to be posted later. Dwight

Ok here is the facts, I was there and heard and saw the problems also. On more than 1 occasion Dwight and Anedra was having to yell to the S.O.’s that they need the scores, but some people 1 in particular were too worried when do I shoot next, when do I shoot next, what place am I, who’s next, what was their score? This is a bunch of crap.when Danny was doing the score if you didn't report it, it didn't get posted especially after several request he would be fair and give you several chances like you had Saturday to report your score. It is your responsibility to check your rack and make sure the S.O.'s are correct and have your score reported. I have spoken with other members and all have agreed that when a match is going on we need to be somewhere else when the shooters are on the line and if your not a S.O. be out in the parking lot or other shed till your up. This sat. Was a little different with 20 people trying to stay dry under 1 shed, allot of commotion, heck People even left guns, ammo, loading blocks, towels, all kinds of stuff. I think the if your not shooting you need to be out of the way (somewhere other than the firing line) if your not an S.O. or coach. After all I thought this was a fun match, for fun not the national rankings. Oh and if your disputing a score 2-3 days after a match, I think if you didn't care enough to read the master sheet or inquire about your score after the match that day tough turkey you should have kept up with your score and made sure the S.O.'s got it right the day of the match. After all there is a 24-hour rule in most ALL matches that give you the right to dispute a score or ruling within 24 hours of the match. "T" P.S. this is the precisely kind of crap that made me say to HE@L with IDPA

I agree that if you are not shooting, you should be somewhere else or QUIET. With the weather this Saturday, there was maybe a reason to gather close, but in most matches there is still a lot of extra noise and comments made while shooting. While they might be directed at one shooter, everyone can hear it and be distracted. No this is not a national match, but most of us are competitive enough to want to do our best. It is easier if there are less distractions. On the other hand, I might be doing away with a good excuse when I shoot bad!

Folks I agree that we need to be more considerate to the shooters on the line, but as far as this score goes it was copied directly off the master sheet as I originally posted it....the master sheet is right here in front of me and I double checked it. I think Anedra did one heck of a job getting the scores together Saturday under the conditions the match had to be run in. To say it was chaotic is to put it mildly. A score posted under the wrong division should always be changed to the correct division. I will take blame for not getting them posted the afternoon of the match....but this is still not a big deal so lets not get any feathers ruffled for a score posted in the wrong category or division.
