The day was hot and humid. We had new shooters who show great potential for this demanding shooting discipline. As usual with our group all pitched in to make the match run smoothly, lots of good attitudes made this hot almost July day more bearable. Our new shooters showed good safe gun handling skills and will be a force to be reckoned with in the future, they deserve a big pat on the back for the performance they showed in the match today. I managed to shoot a personal best today and it felt good to shake the throne of world records with a score that came close…but as Maxwell Smart says “Missed it by that much”
