Does anyone have any opinion of the Savage MKII .22LR with Accutrigger? I am looking for a basic entry level .22 that is reasonably accurate.
Thanks!

I like mine. I have a MKII FV and use it for Bullseye and 50/50 matches. I would get the bull barrel model.

I love mine in wood the model MKII BV, it has impressed me from the get go .I bought it to have a light heavy barrel bolt gun and I turned it into a USBR sporter that shoots about a 222-225 avg. 230 highest on the hardest target there is. I did however do allot of work to it trim trigger springs, polishing every surface that touches metal and moves, and bedded it. Now it will hold a sub 1/2" group at 50yds. easy if I do my part. So I would highly recommend 1 if you want a good rifle for less than most comparable guns, and the accuracy is second to none in it's class. It was even good enough to hold the USBR sporter club high score for a couple months, beating out the CZ's all day long .My $0.02 "T"
