Dear Friends,
A beautiful - if somewhat cool - November morning at the Wagnon Mountain Range. We had everything except a good turnout so it was just Andrew & yours truly. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable match with the steel rams executing pirouettes - the same ram did two of them, one followed by a drop and the other by staying firmly planted on the rack - and much discussion about the radical "Andrew" 25/25 handgun shooting method.
Open Pistol
1st 9/6 Andrew Butler, Browning Buckmark, CCI SV
Open Revolver
1st 11/6 Andrew Butler, S&W K-22, CCI SV 2nd 21/7 Bill Parkhurst, Ruger Single-Six, SK Magazine
Optic Handgun
1st 15/7 Bill Parkhurst, Ruger STD6, Burris FFIII, SK Magazine
Following the match, yours truly took a little range time to shoot some paper targets and found that the Ruger STD6 with Burris FFIII optic was right on the (3MOA) dot - it's my shooting that sucks. However, the Ruger Single-Six was way out of wack shooting 6-inches low and 3-inches left. So watch out for next month's 25/25 match!
Peace, brothers & sisters, Bill
