Pictures and a full status report have been sent to the appropriate Officers and they are in the process of getting a plan of action together. If this is another act of vandalism be forewarned whoever you are you will be caught, and if it is me that catches you heaven help you because they won’t be any body to save you from Sheffield PD when I do. I will see to it you are arrested, charged with a felony and NEVER "walk" through the front gate again for at least 1-3 or 5-10 if you have a gun. "T"

If you mean make the wall wobble, it is only 50 yards long.

I looked at it today. It doesn't look like any type of vandalism, just the ties and ground setling. We may want to look at some way to stabilize it in the near future.

Thank you James. I concur.
Tony, you were concerned about a 2X2 board and the possibility that it was being used as a pry. Let me allay your concern. Back in 2007 or late 06, the first attempt at the construction of the wall resulted in a single layer of ties that was full of gaps (that would be the pistol range side now). The first contractor was not interested in pursuing the matter further. One gentleman (a member) tried to help us out by driving small random sized boards into these gaps. No real security was gained from this.
A second contractor was engaged that added the rimfire range layer and a means to secure the two layers. The second layer has the centers offset to cover gaps. They also built the rimfire range pavilion.
I am no engineer but I am a bit concerned that the new wind flags could be adding stress to the wall. They are numerous and relatively large and the high winds of late could be causing a tuning fork like vibration.
I have a call into the second contractor to come and take a look at the wall.
