After talking to our USBR Officers it has been decided that if the temperature or wind chill is below 45*F we will not shoot a Sanctioned USBR Match. Due to the cost of ammo and lack of moving around to be able to keep warm and be able to feel your trigger, we will however be holding our regularly scheduled Club Match (no match fees) for practice and bragging rights. Should there be a World Record shot it will be reported and certified by the USBR Board of Directors and reflected on the National USBR Website. Start times will be as Danny stated 8:30 this winter and back to 7:30 in the spring. I think most will agree that below 45* is just too cold for a Bench Rifle to shoot at it's best and ammo does not perform well in cold weather precision matches. Any questions or suggestions please feel free to ask or post here. I wish you all a very happy and safe New Year remember we are hosting the 1'st USBR International Match with Fritz and his Team from Brazil coming this summer so get ready for a big match and an even bigger celebration afterwards, also there is the NASA USBR Club Championship and ALABAMA State Championship so it will be a busy year. Thanks to all the NASA USBR Supporters and Shooters for making last year a great success I hope to see you all back in 2010 (it feels funny even saying 2010, where are all the flying cars and teleporters), until then keep it in the 10.
