As most of you know we started holding a CLUB USBR CHAMPIONSHIP and last year it was a close race down to the 100'th of a point and proved to be a very interesting competition. A reminder the more consistent you are the higher your score will be, so make it count and I wish you all the best of luck.
The rules are as follows:
No purchase necessary to win, you are not required to shoot any sanctioned matches you can shoot on a Club and/or National level and still be eligible for the 2010 NASA USBR Championship.
1: All USBR/NASA Rules apply
2: Any shooter wishing to participate must shoot in at least 3 matches per class they wish to be eligible in over the 09-2010 season.
3: The scoring will be as follows. All scores from the 09-2010 season will be added together and divided by the number of matches in each class shot by a competitor the highest averages (1'st-3'rd in each class and 3 gun) will be the winners.
4: NO shooter will be able to shoot 1 match and still be eligible or considered for an award due to the fact that 1 240 can beat a shooter that has shot all season and has 2 240's and a 239 over the season and has to have that score averaged to determine the winner it is not fair or the purpose of this friendly competition. (I.E. If you shoot a 240 3 times and then add all 3 divide by 3 it will still be a 240.)
5: Our visitors for any other Sanctioned National, International, State, or Regional Matches will not be eligible for the NASA Club Championship unless they come back and shoot as a regular guest or at least 3 matches on 3 different days.
At the end of the season we will either hold a final match add the totals and award the winners, or if possible we will have a small informal banquet with dinner and an award presentation ceremony.
As the year progresses we will decide on which will be the best way to do this, again any ideas or questions feel free to post here, call me or ask Barry or I at any match.
I wish you all a safe and Happy New Year, and I hope see you at the range soon. Until then keep it in the 10... Tony "T" Gilmore NASA USBR M.D. , Nat. USBR Web Admin. GO TEAM NASA
