A first time 50/25 shooter attended this morning and only left one silhouette standing. After Rex Medlin fired his last shot in Scoped Class this morning, just the solitary little chicken was left standing on his target rack. That is a club record. Congratulations Rex - good shooting.
Jay posted two fine scores in O and A Classes to take first place in both.
The early thunderstorms, showers, and cloud cover gave way to blue skies and a marvelous temperature. Great conditions for posting 32 scores in three classes.
Place, score, shooter, rifle, optic (if applicable), and ammunition.
Scoped Class
1st 1/0, Rex Medlin, Savage/Anschutz 54, Bushnell 4200 4-16, CCI SV
2nd 5/0, Danny Creasy, Remington 541-T HB, Swift 6-18X44, SK Std Plus

Other highlights:
1. The three way tie for 2nd in Open Sight Class (all shot 10/0) is only superseded by the three way tie for third place in Scope Class with all three shooters taking the "tiebreaker" little chicken (8/1).
2. Paul Enlow shot a personal best open sight score of 10/0 and amazingly enough he fired his beloved CCI CB shorts. His mid-range trajectory is probably 10 inches! Now that just ain't right.
3. A big NASA, Inc welcome to all of our first time 50/25 shooters from this morning:
Lana Horton
John Milton
Mark Hudgins
Rex Medlin
Gary Akin
Thanks for all the help everyone,
Danny Creasy
