Match Results CMP Rimfire Sporter June 26 , 2010
North Alabama Shooting Association
The conditions were hot but not unbearable. We started at around 85 deg and climbed to 95 by the match end. There was no wind to speak of so we can’t blame any wind demons for stray shots. We had a good turnout for the first of our “Death Valley” matches which is what it feels like from this point on until the end of September. We had some good scores today with only a few equipment malfunctions, and as usual they only happen during the rapid fire portion of this match. Today we were only graced by two ladies to add some class to our shooting event. I think everyone had a good time and it seemed to me like I had not shot in 3 months, I was eager to get behind the trigger and make some holes in targets. On a side note I am still haunted by the ghost of our missing friend David King, the range just doesn’t seem the same without him. Thanks to all who came out and shot and helped with the match, even a small match like this takes more logistics than most would believe. We could not do this without a group effort by some really fine people. I apologize for getting this up a day late.
I want to congratulate our Division Winners.

There were a high percentage of medal shooters this month, if I can be of help to anyone with technique, equipment, or suggestions please ask and the group including myself will do all it can to help. Next month our regular matches in July, let’s celebrate our country’s freedom all month long with good attendance and support for our club.
Sincerely
