I will conduct a special condensed version of the CMP Sporter Match on Saturday the 23rd for the benefit of any would-be Sporter Master shooters. Just as planned for the Sporter Master event, I will run any interested shooters through just the three slow fire stages. If you are a regular CMP Sporter Shooter, please just shoot Dwight's regular event. We will shoot off to the side of the regular match and will start setting up at 7:30 AM.
Your scoped rifle, a sling, a shooting mat or blanket, and about 50 rounds of ammo is all you will need. Spotting scope optional - I can usually see the bullet holes at 50 yards with even a 6X scope. So, it should be easy to spot them with the more powerful scopes allowed for the Sporter Master events.
