CMP Rimfire Sporter Match Results

Match conditions were very windy, 15 gusting to low 20's. The temperature was 65 at the start and 85 at noon. Humidity was high around 70% and partly cloudy. This was our first match of the year and the "rust" was apparent in the scores and all the things that go along with a light sporter 3 position match. Most shooters were down an average of 10 points or more than the close of last season, we all agreed it was time to get back in the saddle and sharpen our game up. Scores are as follows ;

Thanks for running the match and posting the scores Dwight. We've had quite a break. I think the average scores will climb back up soon.

I know a lot of folks have been wanting to weigh their rifles and test their triggers as of late. I am sorry I have not had the scale and gauge with me. I am making it a point to have them with me at the range tomorrow afternoon (Sunday 24th) and at next weekend's Raptor Match. So, bring those rifles on that you have been wanting to check out.

Maybe I can get out and join in this fun before to long. Finally dragged my old Glenfield model 25 out of the back of the safe and started enjoying rimfires again. Just bought a Marlin 925 and a Boyds Tacticool stock so once I get it sorted out I'll try and join you.
