We arrived to a beautiful warm spring morning. Almost no wind and temperatures that let us know "Death Valley Day Matches" are just around the corner.. We had an eager crowd in good spirits and ready to shoot and punch holes in paper this morning. A very big Thank You to Danny today who chose to forgo shooting and call both string, this made things go silk smooth. We were in prep time by 8:20 and slighter shots were down range by 8:45. Our great friend Don More (Magical) shot double gold and posted an incredible score in both Telescopic and Open sight categories. The scores at our little club continue to be some of the highest posted ever at any CMP club. I am not bragging but rather giving a verbal "Atta Boy" to our shooters who take this match very serious, they train and perfect equipment constantly to achieve the scores you see from our group.

Special thumbs up to Grayson shot a gun he got 2 days before and with a broken arm and a cast. Don "Magical" is the undisputed Match Winner posting the two highest scores in both divisions today. As Summer approaches the scores continue to get hotter and hotter . Congratulations to Ulus who thought he missed Bronze by one point, I found a match error on his sheet so he medals today. John "Waffle" is still getting used to the left handed CZ American, I suspect his scores will be in medal range in the next two matches as he continues to grow and improve as a marksman. Thomas missed Silver status by one point....good shooting all who came out and had a great time today. See you in June
Sincerely
