Nationally Sanctioned Match Results August 25 , 2012
We arrived to a non typical Alabama August morning with temps in the lower 80's and almost no wind. It was an exceptional day in the deep South for August. It only got to around 90 by match end at noon. we had quite a crowd onsite as soon as the gates were open, all with itchy trigger fingers :-)
Scores were not quite as high as last month, but still the majority of our shooters medaled and that is quite an accomplishment. As they say in show business "Our Players for today"

A few foot notes, many of our shooters today were working with either new guns or new modifications to their guns and had not shot them in competition in the state they existed in today. Father and Son Gary and Ben Lodin were shooting a 10-22 that I had repaired and had not even been zeroed in until that phase of the match began, Our newest Junior "Big Tall" Jordon 10-22 suffered the same fate as his scope was literally falling off due to stripped receiver holes and used my 10-22 to finish the match. I was shooting two rifles that I had never fired in CMP Sporter as well, my scores showed this "cost of adaption" plainly. Above all this I want to shine some light on our new Juniors Grayson, Ben and Jordan who show great promise as marksmen and a promise of our future of responsible gun owners and shooters.
A special thanks to Ulus and David for calling our strings today. See you guys in September or as we say here in the South "Football Weather"
Shoot Straight , Speak the Truth
Sincerely
